Since the shale gas revolution in 2008, new deep drilling and pressure pumping technologies have enabled the economic development of unconventional oil and gas resources. Drives in the Oil and Gas applications have a high rate of use, which leads to very high fuel cost with enormous savings potential.

EKU Power Drive is executing pioneer work in the field of large gas electric drive systems. EKUs technology is essential for the electrification of industrial applications. 5th Annual Shale Gas Innovation Contest

EKU Power Drives will participate as finalist at the 2016 Shale Gas Innovation Contest launched by Ben Franklin Shale Gas Innovation and Commercialization Center (SGICC). The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Southpointe, PA.
